Terhi 450 SC

Terhi 450 SC is a true allrounder equipped with a practical side console. It is extremely stable and balanced, and is thus especially suited for access and transport boating, as well as for different kind of recreational fishing. The safe, unsinkable construction makes this a good option also for the family’s younger skippers. On the new, reinforced stern transom an outboard of up to 40 hp can be mounted, which particularly improves the carrying capacity.

Spacious allrounder with side console

In the 450 models the hulls are identical, but they differ from each other interior-wise. The 450 SC is equipped with a side console, and it is especially suited as an access boat or for transports between mainland and nearby islands, but it is also a great choice for shorter day cruises, recreational fishing and for laying and lifting fishing nets. Thanks to its robust and stable hull the 450 SC is also well suited for the family’s younger skippers.

Rainwater drainage is a welcome feature, as it keeps the boat afloat when docked as long as the bottom plug is left open, even if heavy rain would suddenly commence out of the blue. The water level inside the boat stays the same as outside the boat.

The Terhi 450 SC is based on its predecessor, the 445 C, but its biggest asset is a new, aluminum-reinforced stern transom, which can hold an up to 40 hp outboard engine. The increased engine power favors especially those who often transport heavy loads or lots of packing, or who mainly travel with 3-5 persons onboard the boat. The higher engine power also helps lift the boat into planing, but of course the load of the boat also affects how fast it starts to plane.

The interior, familiar from the 445 C, remains the same also in the 450 SC model; it has a smart, flippable middle bench, four lockable storage units and a lockable oar storage. The oars are not part of the 450 SC’s standard equipment, but can naturally be seperately bought.

The 450 SC is driven sitting on the stern bench, and the steering console has been placed on the starboard side of the boat. The console together with the windshield and windshield railing are included in the boat’s standard pack price, but side, stern and bow railings are to be bought separately. The bow can easily also be fitted with a sundeck (additional accessory), which reinforced also works as a casting deck for fishing. On the list of additional accessories one can also find e.g. a stern canopy, a cover for the steering console, a storage cover, a targa arch for fishing, a sensor frame for the transom transducer and a set of seat cushions. By equipping the boat according to your own needs, you get a boat that is suited especially for your specific use.

As the rest of our Terhi boat models, also the new 450 model is made of a double layer construction of durable and resistant ABS plastic. The void between the inner and outer ABS hull is densely filled with closed-cell polyurethane foam, a floatation material that does not absorb water. This so called Sandwich structure makes our boats especially robust, safe and practically unsinkable. The polyurethane foam acts as floatation and simultaneously suppresses hull-borne noises. As a sign of the boats’ unique, durable construction, we grant all Terhi boats a 4 year consumer warranty.
